“Life is movement” was created in the first half of 2020; when we all were coping with the emotions the pandemic brought us, I poured all of these on paper.
Me, a paper, a brush, ink and all the new feelings and perspectives 2020 brought us.
For some reason, for me, time was sweet again; morning lights came in with this sense of gratitude for life and the sound of leaves like a symphony on the few occasions outside. On the other hand, the chaos and fear of the unknown moment.

The journey
This series started inside me a long time ago. I was just watering on paper preparing for the new year ahead, 2020.
I applied artwork #4 to Publieke Werken, a beautiful project made in Rotterdam using empty billboards during the pandemic.
The posters from this project are sold out.
The series started showing it to me when lockdown started. The series started showing it to me when lockdown started.
I breathed, I screamed, I thanked, I cried, and I laughed through the brush. Every day after lunch, I would kiss my daughter “good nap” and set up my painting area and be.
In today’s digital world, having a website is essential for showcasing your work or selling products and services. With your website, you have complete control over your content, allowing you to create a unique and authentic online presence.
But let’s face it, setting up a website can be overwhelming, especially if you’re not tech-savvy. That’s where I come in! I specialize in making the website creation process as easy and stress-free as possible, so you can focus on what you do best.
Me, paper, brush, ink and all these new feelings and perspectives 2020 brought all of us. I wasn’t in a hurry, but the urge to paint was there.
The book “The Artist Way” by Julia Cameron was with me during this process. It is a workbook, and the fundamental exercise is to fill up three pages every morning. Every morning, no matter what.
I enjoyed every brushstroke, even in the tough days. It’s interesting how life has its way to guide us.
Suddenly it was me, a paper, a brush, ink and all these new feelings and perspectives. Time was sweet again, morning lights came in with this sense of gratitude for life and new beginnings, the chaos in the unknown moment, the sound of the leaves (on the few occasions I was outside) like a symphony.
